I struggled with knowing the right foods to eat, getting stuck in a “junk funk” (for a few years), and thinking that nothing was going to work. I was in a soul-sucking 4×4 cubicle job and everything suffered, especially my physical health. I couldn’t find balance in anything. I had a looped track in my head, “If only I could lose 10 pounds… I don’t have time to cook healthy things… I am so tired, I can’t go to the gym right now.”
Think of it this way… everything in your life is food. The things that really feed you are your relationships, your career, exercise, spirituality, creativity. If these things are imbalanced, your food choices will reflect that. And it goes both ways. If your food choices aren’t serving you, it will show up in your life. Does stress from your job cause you to overeat? Does low energy affect your exercise goals?
Everything is connected. With Artful Balance, you will start by balancing your food and your insides, and then we’ll work our way out into your life.
Everyone’s body is different, and that’s why diets don’t work. Together we will find what foods and lifestyle work best for you as a unique individual, and you’ll learn to implement lasting changes that improve your energy, health, weight, and overall well-being and balance.
