I recommend Chelsea to anyone seriously wanting to change their relationship with food and overcome their dietary “challenges.” I just wanted to learn to eat better and she helped me immensely. She listens to everything you tell her about your needs, your goals and your challenges and then develops a program customized for you. Chelsea has great expertise in her field, her advice is always clear and right-on, and her counsel is always kind, patient and supportive. I found her to be more than just my nutritionist, and more of a life coach. I give her 5 stars.

Chelsea’s Post-Holiday detox (aka, the greatest thing to happen to me since meeting [my wife]) ends today. Since hitting rock bottom at the start of December, I’ve lost almost 12.5 lbs. But more importantly, these last two weeks I have felt better - physical, mentally, spiritually – than ever before.”

One thing that ROCKS is that my asthma is 98% better! I no longer use my inhaler except before I work out just in case. I was using it way too much.

Things are going really well on this end and a lot of that started happening by taking steps with you. Thank you so much for that. You’ve been coming up a lot lately. Whether talking with friends about my little transformation or filling up my tray at whole foods with quinoa, you are there! Since we started together, I’ve lost around 40 pounds, become a “sudo” vegan, and started replacing fun and flirty activities where food would have filled the void. I eat to energize, not to cope. THANK YOU!!!!

“I have lost 8 pounds… without even trying!!”

“After 3-4 months on the program, my bad cholesterol went down and my good ones went up (no medication for me!).”
I began the program with Chelsea worrying about my cholesterol. Also, I thought I knew a lot about healthy eating. Chelsea, always listening, managed to come up with a wealth of new (to me) information about health, food and lifestyle issues. After 3 – 4 months on the program my bad cholesterol went down and my good ones up (no medication for me!). Chelsea is a wonderful health counselor and I would recommend her services to anybody.

Chelsea Jo’s health coaching is spunky, upbeat and super-smart. This was my second detox cleanse with Chelsea, and I’ve returned for more because she so gently introduces ways to make health improvements, while also being realistic and making it very simple. I really enjoy our facebook support group where we can share tips, victories, challenges and accountability. Artful Balance Holistic has an extra special, personal touch.

This is by far the most effective program for spiritual and physical improvement I have used. Chelsea guided me to a healthier body and a more fulfilling personal life. Never did I feel that I was being denied any of my favorite foods; slowly she helped me incorporate healthier choices in my life which included diet, exercise, activities, and methods of meditation and visualization. The length of the program allowed me to work on a few goals at a time and not feel that I had to do everything at once. Chelsea never made me feel guilty if I didn’t quite meet all my goals. She was always positive and never judgemental. She is truly one of the best parts of the process. I looked forward to our bi-monthly consultations as well as her frequent e-mails encouraging me to meet my goals. I can truly recommend this program to anyone who wishes to improve any area of his or her life.

Chelsea takes a heart-felt approach to your nutrition and guides you on an exploration on how your dietary habits affect your entire being. Chelsea is genuinely empathic and gently implements nutritious foods at your own pace, without the typical browbeating you expect from your parents. I highly recommend Chelsea and Artful Balance because it invites you to rethink and reconstruct how food and nourishment can balance us – a healthier and balanced diet sustains a balanced body/ mind.

Before I started Artful Balance, I would have categorized myself as a somewhat “normal” girl. A “normal” girl with “average” issues, “typical” childhood, “minimal” vices and an “okay” relationship with my health. Little did I know that [Artful Balance] would open a door to a whole new way of thinking. Feeling. Believing. Within the first 30 minutes of talking to Chelsea, I was in tears. Not of sadness or anger, but it was the first time someone had asked me questions about myself that was specific to my relationship with my health. There were no preconceived ideas of how I might respond to the program, nor was there any pressure put on me to “get it right”. This made it incredibly easy to talk to her, because I knew we were mapping out my blueprint. What works for me? The wealth of information Chelsea has to offer her clients is simply amazing. Her knowledge and understanding of nutrition, joined with her enthusiasm for sharing it makes it impossible to ignore. There wasn’t a single session when I didn’t walk away with handfuls of new facts or thoughts about what I put in my body. Every session covered another detail of how certain foods and behaviors affect the body, and how intricately they are tied together. Her holistic approach to positive health and healing allowed me to absorb the knowledge with a much more gradual process, creating an awareness within myself so that I could begin putting the dots together. Within the six months, I completed a series of goals that I might never have had the courage to face before. I went from eating out 80% of the time to cooking at home 80%. I quit my job that I hated, and started working in an environment that I love. I started losing weight. I started reading more. I started organizing my finances. I started challenging myself, asking myself more questions. I started realizing that consciousness is a truly remarkable and vital element of living. Not one of us is “normal” or “average”. I’m proud of myself for completing Artful Balance. But I could not have done it without the guidance and support of Chelsea Jo Pattison Conard. I will always be eternally grateful for her wisdom and love, and feel so certain that she will continue to positively change and uplift so many lives as she did mine.

I was impressed with Chelsea’s knowledge, confidence, and listening skills. Her caring attitude and sense of purpose and accomodations to individual needs was so apparent. Her presense is truly a “spark” that ignited my desire to lead a more health and balanced life.

“She knows what she’s talking about, is non-judgmental, and is a total sweetheart.”
I heard about Chelsea through a daily deal. She offered to go shopping with you and to come back and cook up a meal. I just moved into my new apartment and vowed to start cooking again and I thought this was a great thing to jump-start my healthy cooking goal. I had a great time and learned a lot! She went through some sample menus that she prepared based on my questionnaire prior to our session. I highly recommend Chelsea. She knows what she’s talking about, is non-judgmental, and is a total sweetheart. I’m so glad I purchased her deal and would highly recommend her!
